Although relatively young on the LED market (with about five years of experience), My-tronic has already proven its proficiency. As a result the company’s presence on both national and international market has amplified, thus the need of a good, relevant web presence became crucial.
The company is not involved solely in developing and producing sophisticated LED systems, so only led-effects.com was redesigned and released this month. The other two company websites my-tronic.com and my-led.com are scheduled for redesign in October and December 2006, and release in January 2007. The led-effects.com corporate website was redesigned by Pamil Visions under the direct supervision of My-tronic’s sales and management teams.
Pamil Visions has paid tremendous attention at the corporate identity guidelines provided by My-tronic GmbH. The new website welcomes its visitors with a consistent layout style, simple (the use of graphics is minimal) and yet very attractive through its colors and the beauty of the LEDs perfectly captured in product and application pictures. This is one type of layout that never goes wrong: excellent branding (the company logo and contact details are visible on each page), clear headlines and subtitles, obvious links to certain areas of interest within the website, clear navigation, good content, relevant product pictures and more.
Led-effects.com was not programmed using special software such as Flash. The idea was to create a user friendly website in plain HTML, respecting the W3C standards, a site focused on the visitors and what they need to know about LED systems and technologies rather than on the company (the “about us” category offers enough information about My-tronic).
While many corporate websites are dull and boring, led-effects.com is attractive, informative, clear and concise, explaining how and where LEDs work, giving comprehensible examples of LED applications and showing what LED light sources are best fit for a certain use whether architectural lighting, landscape lighting, promotional lighting or multimedia applications.
In overall, My-tronic has successfully redesigned its LED related corporate website to reassure its clients and business partners of its true commitment to excellence. Browsing led-effects.com is certainly an unforgettable experience.
