iZ3D Announces Premium 3D Lens Technology For Gaming at CES
Jan 06, 2010 – San Diego, Calif. -- iZ3D Inc., designer, developer and pioneer of advanced stereoscopic 3D visualization systems announced today that the company will be offering a premium version of its 3D glasses enabled with i-AMP® technology from GUNNAR Optiks. These new models of glasses will provide the same comfortable iZ3D viewing as the latest iZ3D glasses with the added benefit of ergonomically correct and distortion free optics.“This year will be an impressive time for the 3D industry, ” stated Tom Striegler, CEO for iZ3D, Inc.“After releasing our improved iZ3D glasses last year, we wanted to give an added bonus to 3D viewing. Making glasses more comfortable to wear and enhancing the 2D and 3D experience of an iZ3D monitor is a terrific pairing. This is why iZ3D has begun collaborating with GUNNAR to provide users with the very best 3D solution.”
Offering an uncompromised 3D experience, the company’s development approach to 3D stereoscopic viewing places 3D technology in the display, and includes optimizing displays for gaming, home entertainment, and professional applications. Each solution is compatible with multiple dual output graphics cards and includes high-performance LCD displays, lightweight passive polarized glasses, and blazingly fast software.
Members of the press and industry buyers will get a first glimpse of the new eyewear working with iZ3D gaming systems at Pepcom, the media event preceding CES. Demo units will also be available for viewing on the GUNNAR bus at CES. The first production models of GUNNAR eyewear with i-AMP 3D specifically compatible with iZ3D gaming systems will be available in Q2 of 2010. Prescription eyewear will be available in Q3.
