(openPR) - The capital markets lawyer, Eckhard Martin, LL.M., (46) joined Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz in Frankfurt as an Equity Partner from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. This brings to 27 the number of lawyers and tax advisors in the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets area at Nörr.
"Eckhard Martin, with his extensive experience, is among the most prominent capital markets lawyers in Frankfurt with expertise and standing as a lawyer which are very compatible with us“, said Nörr speaker, Dr. Dieter Schenk. Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz advises national and international companies on the acquisi-tion of capital through the stock exchanges (IPOs, listing, capital increases), through debt financing (securitisation, syndicated loans, bonds, debentures and mezzanine capital) and balance sheet restructuring. Martin has more than 15 years experience in these areas and has acted for many listed companies in capital increases, high yield bonds, hybrid bonds, balance sheet restructurings, syndicated loans and other capital measures.

Eckhard Martin is admitted as a lawyer both in Germany and New York. He began his career with a US law firm in London and New York in 1988. In 1993, he moved to Deringer Tessin Herrmann & Sedemund, where he became a partner in 1997 and made a decisive contribution to the development of the Frankfurt office. Deringer merged with Freshfields and Bruckhaus Westrick Heller Löber in 2000 to become Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
