Thanks to the Parlay Gateways from the Danish telecommunication company Partner Voxtream, small and medium-sized companies with ISDN telephone systems are now capable of utilizing this cost-effective service.
You will not make VoIP calls via Voxbone, but you will receive them! Voxbone customers select the telephone numbers themselves via a web interface. Within very few hours the connection will be established.
Many small and medium-sized companies can normally not afford international telephone numbers. The administrative expenses have simply been too high. For these companies the virtual telephone numbers from Voxbone are a very useful alternative. Partner Voxtream has also experienced this. “Voxbone has allocated a Japanese telephone number for our customers in Japan. Incoming calls from The Far East were reached by one of our IP phones“, Mark Jespersen CEO at Partner Voxtream explains. „Earlier it was not possible to transfer these calls to our ISDN telephone system. Now the Parlay VoXip SIP Gateways make this possible without any problems“.
The Parlays convert the VoIP calls from Japan and via the telephone system’s ISDN lines they are transferred to the relevant employee, who can see the Japanese telephone number in the display. No additional call expenses will be charged – you only pay a fixed monthly fee per telephone number. Modification of the existing telephone system is not necessary as there is no difference between Voxbone calls and ISDN calls. In connection with call back to Japan the Parlays also ensure cost efficient VoIP connections to the SIP providers.
