In addition to its fresh, new look and expanded functionality, thieme.com includes dynamic video interviews with renowned medical professionals as well as a regularly updated ‘Latest News’ section. The ‘Resources’ pages provide individualized information that caters to the specific needs of authors, students, instructors, librarians and others. The streamlined design of the site allows easy access to journals and Thieme-produced web-based services, such as the Thieme E-book Library, Thieme-connect and WinkingSkull.com.

The re-launched thieme.com also makes it simpler than ever to locate information on books, journals and e-products. Visitors to the site can browse content by any medical specialty – from anatomy and neurosurgery to orthopedic surgery and radiology – directly from the homepage.

Additionally, readers are now able to make truly informed buying decisions using a book preview tool that lets them electronically leaf through any book without having to navigate away from the Thieme website.

As visitors surf the site, their recently viewed items appear as hyperlinks at the bottom of the page, and password-protected user accounts and an easy-to-use shopping cart function further enhance the retail experience.
