IAPA grows internationally
Press release from: IAPA e.V.
(openPR) - The International Adventure Park Association (IAPA e.V.) welcomes Go Ape, the largest operator of adventure parks in the UK, and its 22 parks as a new member of the IAPA.
Wallenhorst, Kandel, 11-24-2009 – the new chairman of IAPA, Mark da Costa, had great news for the IAPA members. He succeeded in gaining the membership of Go Ape, the largest adventure park operator in the UK. And so IAPA now counts 22 parks more in total.
The main goal of IAPA and its work as an association is, to continue on improving adventure and leisure quality for visitors of adventure parks. To gain this, IAPA counts on a wide consensus in the branch and the further education of its members. The exchange of experiences across the channel brings a huge plus of know-how for both sides. And this is one of the highlights, Go Ape founder Tristram Mayhew, pointed out, when he confirmed this step on the 4th German Adventure Park Symposium, being held on 23rd/24th of November in Kandel, Germany.
Go Ape will contribute its experiences from the UK in organization, conservation and ecology as well as security and training to IAPA resources. This will further improve the already reached high level of training and education. Mayhew and da Costa hope that the step of Go Ape will be a positive signal for more parks to participate in and benefit from the work of the IAPA.
