Press release from: I Support Learning, Inc.
(openPR) - Olathe, KS – November 16, 2009 – I Support Learning, Inc. (ISL) announced that owner and CEO, Steve Waddell, will be traveling to Nashville TN to attend the annual Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) Conference, running from November 19-21 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
At the conference ISL will be showcasing and demonstration their new, 4th Generation of Career Simulations, using upgraded technology and graphical capabilities. Some of the new titles, already having been upgraded to the 4th generation technology, will also be on display for conference attendees to interact with and observe. Among the titles will be: Video Game Design, Personal Finance and Wealth Management, and Web Game Design.
Also on display will be the company’s new, online teacher’s community website. The site is designed for teachers using the products, to share best practices and student examples of work in order to enhance the experience for the student. Waddell also commented that free materials, designed to make the virtual internship experiences they offer even more robust, will also be available only through this site.
Waddell explains: “This is story-centered, project based learning. So that means that anything we can do to make our virtual learners more engaged and involved in these career simulations, is ultimately for the better. Through our new generation of software, and our additional material on the learning community site, we can make this virtual experience more real for the digital native.”
