What are the trends for OSS and BSS?

Press release from: Orga Systems GmbH
(openPR) - How to challenge the market developments in the MENA region

Paderborn (Germany), 24 November 2009 - The MENA GSM Market has continued its strong consolidation and major operator groups have already expanded far beyond the MENA Region. They expand to the African Continent and Asia-Pacific, into countries with huge population and potential. Growth is guaranteed, but strategies and concepts of the individual operators and groups with global presence become more challenging. The market in the Middle East region will be driven by mobile broadband data services. First of all, real time is needed to enable these NG services appropriately. Operators relying on real time will be able to offer much more valuable services, bundles and mobile broadband much faster than their competitors.

Increasing competition and dropping ARPUs
The penetration rates, competition in the markets increase, the ARPUs drop, but the volume increases, both from a subscriber and business point of view. The individual operators acquired by the groups have different infrastructures, from different vendors. How to challenge the individual market developments from a technical perspective? What are the related trends in the areas of OSS/BSS?
Operators have to decide if consolidation and unification of the infrastructure are possible in the long-run.

At the GSM>3G Middle East - Telco World Summit, held in Dubai from 07.12.2009 - 08.12.2009, Orga Systems will show intelligent approaches to manage the squeeze between long term strategy and the need to immediately launch new services. From best exploiting opportunities in home markets to supporting pan-regional growth strategies: Orga Systems advises to concentrate on convergent real-time charging and billing in order to stay ahead of the field.
