Press release from: GALLEHR+PARTNER
(openPR) - Frankfurt-Karben, Germany / 24 November, 2009:
As an airline committed to opening new routes and increasing the number of passengers served, management at Montenegro Airlines understood that the challenges of the EU ETS needed to be met with a strategic and expert approach. GALLEHR+PARTNER were appointed to support them in putting together their monitoring plans.
“Following attendance at a conference held by GALLEHR+PARTNER, we decided that this company was ideally positioned to support us; their experience and expertise being exactly that which we needed,” explained Miodrag Stanic, Operations Center Manager at Montenegro Airlines. “Our future plans include further modernization, the enlargement of our fleet and increasing the number of passengers we serve, therefore, we needed to ensure that our approach to the EU ETS matched our strategic aims and enabled our continued success.”
Sebastian Gallehr, CEO of GALLEHR+PARTNER said: “There was always the concern that smaller airlines would be at a competitive disadvantage through the implementation of EU ETS, Montenegro Airlines have shown that with the right approach there is no need to worry. Through the last six years of working with other industries, our customers have proven that it is possible to positively embrace the environmental goals at the heart of this legislation – for the good of the environment, and the economy.”
