India is emerging as the Mecca of global KPO outsourcing business, according to the latest survey carried by the leading IT outsourcing research firm.

Study reveals that IT-outsourcing particularly KPO is rapidly growing outsourcing business in India. KPO alone will have growth of 45% compared to BPO segment, which will be expected to grow at lesser pace with 25% annually.

What makes KPO business so hot in India? KPO is the intensive business process outsourcing that requires specialized domain-based expertise. The global knowledge process outsourcing industry (KPO) is estimated to reach US 17 billion by 2010 and major chunk of 70% will be outsourced to India alone.
