Gartner Again Positions Steelwedge Software as the leading best-of-breed Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Solution

Pleasanton, CA – September 20, 2009– The 2009 S&OP Report by Gartner has positioned Steelwedge as the top best-of-breed S&OP vendor and as the only solution that delivers needed functionality for both sales forecasting and S&OP processes on a Cloud-basis.
The Gartner MarketScope Report for Sales and Operations Planning profiled a total the vendors of S&OP space based on proven customer implementations, demonstrated S&OP functionality, and global coverage. Each vendor was assessed based on comprehensive evaluation criteria including Market Understanding, Product Strategy, Innovation and Customer Experience. Each vendor was given an overall rating. Steelwedge was one of a very small group of vendors rated Positive in the study. Of note, SAP was downrated to “Caution” in this year’s study.
