MetricStream, Inc., the market leader in enterprise-wide Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and Quality Management solutions, today announced that it is participating in First Annual Silicon Valley Quality Conference organized by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). The conference is being held on October 23rd, 2009 at The Techmart, Santa Clara, California.
The ASQ Silicon Valley Section 2009 Quality Conference has a theme of “The Road to Quality Excellence” and will look to address the primary challenges of achieving process and product excellence. The event will include presentations from experts and professionals from the industry, covering the key elements in achieving organizational change and management’s role in managing the process and maintaining momentum. It will also look to discuss the best practices, tools and templates, analytical approaches to complex problems and key results. Further, there is a discussion of an integrated learning model and curriculum needed to achieve a learning organization to drive the goals of performance and quality excellence.
At the conference, Shellye Archambeau, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at MetricStream, will be part of a panel, along with senior Quality and Analytics professionals from NetApp, Seagate Technologies, Harrington Institute and ActiveMiner to discuss “Quality - New Directions and New Tools for Suppliers and Supply Chain Management”.
Globalization is accelerating, leading to large structural shifts for global supply chain organizations and new challenges to successfully manage supply chain performance. Supply chain management improvement is currently being driven by the need to constantly improve product quality and customer service. The constraint of complying with stringent product and process quality norms for regulatory compliance adds a unique dimension to supplier quality management.
MetricStream delivers easy-to-use software solutions for quality, compliance, audit management and supply chain governance. The integrated supply chain governance solution allows companies to manage different aspects related to their suppliers including supplier performance, supplier quality, supplier risk and vendor risk. MetricStream’s industry-leading solutions also allow the flexibility to adapt the system for diverse business needs and the maturity of its technology is a critical success factor in large-scale global deployment scenarios.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
