Web entrepreneurs get a level playing field to compete
Press release from: Kane Research Limited
(openPR) - UK based company Kane Research Limited have launched a new free web service aimed at providing a list of the very best websites regardless of size, network connections or advertising budget.
Members are encouraged to submit and vote for their favourite websites using a simple “one click” voting system. Newly submitted websites appear as new releases until they receive enough votes to enter the web site charts proper.
Regular visitors can keep abreast of changes using the various sort options including last voted, latest entry and a live interactive view. Website owners are able to solicit votes by linking directly to their chart entry, not only does this provide a mechanism to raise their web site within the charts but a single vote will project an entry to the top of the last voted and the live view.
Another popular way visitors can keep their finger on the pulse is using the “tag cloud” view where frequently used tags are emphasised in a larger font.
With the introduction of this free service Kane Research hope to provide a platform for web entrepreneurs lacking the budget to compete with larger more established websites. The ability to receive this early exposure will provide a much needed breathing space for new websites to get established.
Votedtop.com has launched with 20 selectable categories: All, Auto, Blogs, Business, Career, Family, Finance, Fun, Games, Health, Home, Kids, Media, Reference, Regional, Shopping, Sports, Technology, Travel, and Web.
Roy Robinson founded Kane Research Limited in 1990 to provide computer consultancy services to businesses based in Europe and the USA. For over 20 years Kane Research as served some of the largest corporations in the world.
