Press release from: PractiGo GmbH

More and more agencies and tour operators offer their products online. Reservations via Internet are not always trusted and as security has always been a great concern, especially in times of crisis; it is absolutely crucial to check whether or not your money is in good hands!

Whenever booking a language holiday or internship abroad, PractiGo recommends you make sure that the agency is a serious company and where it is located. PractiGo is a German company based in Bremen and has been, since 2004, successfully mediating language holidays and internships around the globe (such as Work & Travel or volunteer programs). "So we, as an agency based in Germany, abide by the strict guidelines of the German travel law. As an example, this includes (amongst other things) an insolvency insurance which ensures that you will receive your money back in the case of insolvency of the travel organiser” said Oliver Schneider, CEO of PractiGo.

Additionally, PractiGo also offers tailor-made insurance. To avoid high short-term cancellations fees, travel cancellation insurance can be booked in advance with the company. Moreover, the time spent abroad can be covered through insurance packages offered by PractiGo.

PractiGo is also proud to announce that it is now a certified member of internationally recognised quality organisations such as WYSE Travel Confederation (quality guarantee of educational travel), ALTO (quality guarantee for language courses) and WYSE Work Abroad (quality guarantee for internships). Through these memberships, PractiGo not only guarantees a high level of quality and professionalism but also thorough, personalised advice and monitoring at all time as well as a regular review of its programmes. This allows a high degree of quality and professionalism. Similarly PractiGo met the quality criteria of the Working Group of the DAAD, the promoted German Federal Ministry.

Quality also plays an important role in the choice of the partner schools working with PractiGo. Oliver Schneider explained the example of Spain: "As we focus on high quality in the teaching of the Spanish language, we work exclusively together with accredited centres of the Cervantes Institute in Spain." In order to receive this certificate, the Spanish language school must prove very high quality in all their service areas and be able to meet certain requirements and conditions of the Cervantes Institute. Even in English-speaking countries, PractiGo only cooperates with language schools run by recognised institutions such as the British Council and Cambridge Institute, which guarantee the seal of approval for good facilities, qualified teachers and the possibility to receive a language certificate upon completion of the course.

The standards of the associations are in a short version available here:
