Westernacher Alfresco Platinum competence ... now also out of our US office

Westernacher, an Alfresco certified platinum partner, today announced that they bring their System Integration Expertise and high-level services in Enterprise Content Management with Open Source Alfresco now also to US Customers.

Westernacher looks back at a very successful ten-year track record of its Boston- based subsidiary Westernacher Consulting Inc, offering mainly IT strategy implementation and SAP services in the life sciences, utilities and automotive market in the past. “By offering complementary consulting and implementation services in the area of ECM with Alfresco Software, we are on the one hand enabled to extend our Alfresco practice to a new region and thus capable of carrying out work for global customers locally on two continents. On the other hand, as ECM is more and more becoming a layer in corporate IT infrastructure, our existing ERP consulting business in the US is supplemented by the management of unstructured content – namely ECM. This is the necessary logical step aligning corporate strategy with the business needs at hand.” says Walter Buettner, member of the board of directors of Westernacher.
The Alfresco customer base of the German company includes – among others - KLM/Air France, Merck KgaA, Debeka Insurance, Stadtwerke München, DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water), Hagos eG, the Catholic Diocese of Würzburg, the federal chamber of notaries and the German Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food. Alfresco related projects of Westernacher have addressed most of the ECM disciplines relevant: input management, collaboration, records management, web content management, archiving and enterprise level integration.
