Brazilian operator Itacéu/ItaVoice adopts complete TELES solution
Press release from: TELES

Implementation of complete TELES C4/C5 next generation network solution for Brazilian service provider Itacéu/ItaVoice concluded successfully.
"The implementation and support services surpassed our expectations," confirmed Fernando Canuto, ItaVoice's COO. "TELES provided us with reliable and intelligent support. They were aware from the beginning of the market requirements for this solution and structured it accordingly; continuously adapting components to match each scenario as market demands required."
Thomas Haydn, TELES Product Marketing Director was keen to point out that TELES support structures were key to ensuring the success of the project: "This is the first project on this scale that we have had in the region so it was a great new challenge for us. TELES local support in Brazil worked in tandem with our HQ and manufacturing plant in Berlin to provide ItaVoice with coordinated and effective service and support. We were also able to provide comprehensive and intensive on-site training to guarantee that the solution would be fully operational following its successful installation and implementation."
Apart from matching all of ItaVoice's network requirements, they have also saved around 30% of the total expected investment - despite not having found a supplier capable of providing them with a similar solution to match their list of requirements.
"The savings we have made thanks to the TELES solution have provided us with a real edge in the Brazilian telephony and converged services market. Over the course of the next 12 months we intend to expand to 10,000 active extensions of the IP Centrex solution," says Fernando Canuto, who is convinced that ItaVoice is moving in the right direction: "It is my belief that the market for converged services over IP is now maturing much faster than expected. This is mainly due to solutions such as TELES IP Centrex, which doesn't simply provide an innovative concept for unified communications, but also recognizes that the final value of these services is to support enterprises in enhancing their results. I am very satisfied with the TELES solution and looking forward to enjoying its benefits whilst helping to improve the corporate environments of our clients."
TELES will be presenting its complete range of Next Generation Network solutions at FutureCom in Sao Paulo at the Transamerica Expo Center, hall C, booth C64 from October 13 - 16. Please visit us there.
