Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 certification awarded

NASHVILLE, TN—October 6, 2009— Perle Systems, the global developer and manufacturer of device connectivity solutions announces Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 certification for PCI-RAS Multimodem Cards. Perle is the first company to receive 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 certification for Multimodem Cards in the industry. All drivers can be downloaded from Perle’s website.

Microsoft’s Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Certification of products is granted after passing a series of rigorous testing. Once a product is certified the company earns the right to use the highly respected Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 logo. The authorized use of this logo is proof that a product or solution has met the stringent criteria set out by Microsoft indicating reliability and technical excellence.

Perle PCI-RAS cards allow users to integrate 4 or 8 modems into a server using PCI or PCI-X bus slots. They provide a simple solution coupled with high performance to deliver multiple voice, fax and data communications over V.92 56K integrated modems. The applications it can serve include Remote Access, Internet access and Fax Serving for either Windows or Unix/Linux operating systems.
