Easy and fast synchronization of SAP® systems with brand new version 2 of Conigma™ DEVSYNC

Innovative analysis algorithms, synchronization also for customizing and other Non-ABAP objects, significant performance improvements combined with many new features in the user interface lead to a much more efficient and easy synchronization of SAP systems.

Munich, 7th of October, 2009 - Galileo Tools GmbH, one of the leading suppliers of software solutions for SAP® change, release and transport management today announces the availability of version 2 of Conigma™ DEVSYNC. Focus of this new version was a completely new, innovative analysis algorithm for determining the objects, which need to be synchronized as well as coverage of additional object types and a series of new features for enterprise-wide use.

The new analysis of Conigma™ DEVSCNC for objects needing synchronization now not only covers ABAP but also is able to deal with Customizing recognizing synchronization issues even for single table entries. If a customer is using Enhanced CTS (CTS+) for transporting Non-ABAP objects, also these objects will be discovered and added to the object list to be transported into the target SAP system. Conigma™ DEVSYNC does not need any prework or preparation to calculate the object list for synchronization as all required data will be computed during runtime. Therefore all historical objects, independent of age, are covered by the analysis.
The new version contains also a special algorithm to handle source system dependant SAP BI objects as well as the corresponding special repack methodology.

The performance of analyzing the SAP systems and computing the object list has been improved dramatically by using intelligent caching mechanisms. This is essential to support enterprise-wide usage in complex SAP landscapes with huge data volumes.

The new, more user-friendly graphical user interface, which is completely integrated in SAPgui, offers several business critical features, i.e.

• Storing and Loading different synchronization configurations – source-, target system, filter options, repack strategy, etc.
• Additional criteria for selecting the objects to be analyzed for synchronization needs, i.e. time period, SAP user, task type or status.
• Graphical display of the status of each object after analysis and calculation.
• Remote comparison of objects – displaying the source code of the object from target and source system in a split-screen view, highlighting the differences.
